For the fifth consecutive year, PYE Electrificaciones has made a significant contribution to the generation of electrical energy to supply the region during the months of June to September, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and energy development.
Key Project Features:
- Production Capacity: 550 MW of electrical energy.
Interconnection Point: 120 MW per day are transmitted across 6 kilometers to the La Herradura substation of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).
- Generation Infrastructure: 62 engines divided into groups, each capable of generating between 15 and 17 MW.
- The energy is enough to supply 350 thousand households in Baja California.



The Challenge :
The work and site preparation times for the emergency corrective protocol are extremely short, requiring us to implement efficient and coordinated solutions to ensure the project is delivered on time and in proper form. The demand for electrical energy in the Baja California region increases significantly during the summer period. Thanks to our strategic approach and strong commercial partnerships, this project has become a reality.
- Execution time: 60 days.
- Construction of a secondary gas regulation station with a capacity of 30,000 MMBTU.
- Expansion and adaptation of 20,000 m² of production area.
- 500 linear meters of carbon steel piping installed.
- 9 kilometers of medium-voltage cable.
- 20 kilometers of low-power cable.
- Over 3,000 connections.
